The process usually involves:
Initial consultation:
We discuss your goals, challenges, and expectations.Assessment: Evaluating your space and identifying areas for improvement. This can be on site before starting the process or with photos/videos.
Organization plan:
We agree on a customized plan for how to improve your space.Implementation:
Execute the plan. This includes decluttering, purchasing new bins (if desired), organizing, and setting up systems.Follow-up: I check in with you to see how your new systems and restored space is fitting your needs.

This depends on several factors, including the size and complexity of space.
Some smaller spaces can be completed in a 3 hour session, while larger spaces with more items and storage areas will take longer.

Home organizing is hands-on and requires access to the space, as well as your time, energy and enthusiasm to make decisions that will help you achieve your goals. To prepare for your first session, here are a few things I recommend:
Get a good night of sleep.
Drink water and eat a balanced meal to give you energy beforehand.
Wear comfortable shoes
Think through your daily routine of how you use your space and identify the problem areas so we can improve those first.
Gather some basic supplies including trash bags and any pre-owned storage bins that you want to use. I also offer personal shopping if you want to purchase new bins/storage solutions to cohesively fit your space and aesthetic.
Bring an open mind. During your organizing sessions, you will have the opportunity to let go of items that don't serve you any longer and create a new, more intentional relationship with your space.
Plan for how you will handle potential interruptions that can impact our hands on organizing time (kids, pets, etc)

During the initial sorting process, it’s helpful for you to be available to advise on what items can stay and what can go. I can do other work independently too. I am happy to work with you to create a process that will be most efficient for you.

I do light cleaning while we’re moving items, including wiping down shelves, but organizing does not include deep cleaning services.

During a phone or video consultation, we’ll discuss your project, how you use your space, an estimated timeline, and what you’re hoping to achieve.
For larger projects and projects with handy services, an in-home consultation can be scheduled. Please inquire if you prefer this option.
Payment policy
After your initial consultation, a $50 non-refundable down payment is required to schedule. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of your project. The down payment is non-refundable; however, if you need to reschedule, your deposit can be applied to a future session if notification is given at least 48 hours in advance.
Accepted forms of payment: Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, Cash app, cash.
